Organic Loafers is a small business dedicated to perfecting the art of traditional artisan baking.
Our breads are made using certified organic flour and many other wholesome ingrediants, to promote the nutritional benefits of traditionally produced breads.
Organic Loafers is the brainchild of Damian Norvilas and Alaine Guthrie. Damian trained as a baker in his youth and also has a degree as a food scientist. Alaine Gulthrie is a self confessed foodie, who has a firm belief in the use of organic products. They are always happy to answer any questions you have about Loafers products.

Our mission is to make a range of breads using certified organic flour and to make bread using artisan techniques.
By doing this we aim to maintain the art of traditional bread making, and promote the nutritional benefits of traditionally produced bread.
All products are made using long fermentation methods. Our products are hand moulded and scored in traditional European style. Our products are all made with certified organic flour. We do not add any commercial yeast in our sour dough breads.
A traditional sour dough with some non-traditional ingredients. This multi grain bread contains quinoa an ancient pseudo-cereal from the andes which is high in protein, and linseeds which have exceptionally high amounts of Omega-3 fatty acids.
Made with 40% wholemeal flour this sourdough made to a French technique. Has a nutty and slight lemon like sour note. When you try this product there will be no argument why it is called the Ultimate.
No it isnt a spelling error! Poolish is a pre- fermentation process that allows more flavour to develop before the final dough is mixed. Made on a 24 hour process, this handmade loaf is rich with bran, germ and fresh yeast which give the product as lift.
Our Ciabatta is the quintessential Italian bread made with certified Olive oil, no preservatives and certainly no shortcuts. Like Italian breads, our Ciabatta has holes throughout the loaf, perfect for dipping!
