A Taste of Laughs to Come at the Perth Comedy Festival '26
The Perth Comedy Festival returns from 20 April to 17 May, 2026, and the first acts announced promise big laughs and unmissable nights.
Leading the charge is international comedy heavyweight Daniel Sloss (SCO), one of several global stars heading to Perth for the much-loved month-long festival.
Sloss brings his brand-new show BITTER to Perth as part of a massive live tour spanning 55 countries, including selling out 9 New York off-Broadway theatre sessions. He's been performing standup for more than half of his life and, in the process, broken multiple box office records to become one of the top ticket-selling comedians on the planet. BITTER is his 13th solo show and Perth audiences can see it live at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre on April 29.
Fellow Scotsman and global break-through stand-up star Connor Burns (SCO) returns to Perth with his 4th solo show GALLUS. A prolific joke writer whose lightning fast, razor-sharp wit combines with his signature single malt Scottish-level cynicism to help create the perfect storm of brilliant jokes performed by a disarming comedy powerhouse. Catch Connor Burns at the Astor Theatre on May 8.
Local favourite Luke Heggie is the first of many acclaimed Australian comedians announced for the festival, with a show that has been lovingly and curated over the last 5 years. And of it Heggie says, "there's one new joke in the show. The rest is old. If you don't like it, you can rack off!"
The ever-popular Perth Comedy Festival Galas will once again light up the Regal Theatre in Subiaco, taking place across three massive nights: Wednesday 29 April, 6 May and 13 May.
This year's shows will be spread across some of Perth's top venues, including the Regal Theatre and Chorus, Astor Theatre, Rechabite and Goodwill Club and the State Theatre Centre of WA .
