Following on from the success of Kalamunda Farmers Market and the obvious success of other twilight markets around Perth, the support for a place where families can meet, shop, eat in a friendly traffic-free environment was overwhelming.
The crowds have been huge and choice of food, arts crafts and luxury groceries has been amazing.
The Kalamunda Chamber of Commerce operates the markets on a not for profit basis with the aim of promoting Kalamunda as a "destination" for the ultimate benefit of businesses in the area.
The spread of market stalls through the Central Mall, live music and street performers set a safe carnival atmosphere for young and old. Whilst dogs are permitted it does get very crowded and although we love dogs, are preference is that they be left at home. Heaps of stalls and shops - browse for hours and support local business.
