Support emerging Indigenous Australian artists (and pick up a new piece for your home) at this just-launched online art shop.

The APY Galleries in Adelaide and Sydney give well-deserved metro exposure to artists from the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands in remote South Australia.

The Anangu-run galleries bring together 11 different art collectives, including Ernabella Arts - Australia's oldest Indigenous art centre. And with more than 500 artists on the APY Lands, the galleries create more opportunities for the young and emerging among them.

But when the galleries were forced to close in line with coronavirus restrictions, the team decided to set up an online shop where you can browse and buy dozens of works - as a way to support the many Indigenous Australian artists working in the area.

The intricate, colourful paintings start at $760 and the shop will be updated with new works regularly.
